Tony Lane Appointed Exeter Diocese Arboricultural Consultant

Tony Lane has been recently appointed to advise the Exeter Diocesan Advisory Committee (DAC) on tree related matters. The DAC appoint various honorary consultants to advise them on range of topics involving the care and maintenance of church buildings and property. Part of the work will involve the consideration of 'faculty' applications by parochial church councils (PCCs) to carry out works to their churchyard trees or to plant trees in their church yards.

Churchyards and other church properties contain some extremely fine trees and it is a privilege to be involved in the their care and maintenance.
