Church & Diocese Health & Safety

A M Lane Ltd are pleased to be working with the Diocese of Exeter's Diocesan Board of Finance on their Health and Safety compliance. The work head includes a complete review of the current H&S Policy, Organisation, Procedures and Arrangements for their main premises at the Old Deanery, Exeter. This will then expand to consider all aspects of the Diocesan work as well as outlying premises. Tony Lane will be leading on this project which came about following his voluntary H&S work with his local parish church council at St Marys Uffculme. Tony commented that "This is an interesting challenge and a departure from our normal H&S work with landbased businesses. The Diocese is a complex organisation with a mix of voluntary and paid staff together with a range of structures supporting different aspects of the Diocesan function. With the help of Sara Ashton (H&S Manager) we are hoping to inspire active participation in safety, health and welfare as well as providing a lead on H&S matters to parishes served by the Diocese".
