Tony Lane attended the recent review of the Prof Claus Mattheck's work on Visual Tree Assessment seminar in Loughborough. An incredibly informative day presented by the iconic personality that is Prof. Mattheck. Valuable revision on how trees adapt and respond to their physical environment as well as new insights into how branches are attached, as well as why they might predictably detach. Tony explains that 'the most technically challenging skill I have to apply is Visual Tree Assessment when I am inspecting trees, surveying and inspecting trees is therefore a key area of expertise for any aboricultural consultant'.
